Rules for Ormandy materialsĬirculating Ormandy Center compact discs, cassettes, LPs, DVDs, Blue-rays, videocassettes books and scores have a loan period of six weeks and may be renewed one time for an additional six weeks unless designated in the Franklin catalog as "Library Use Only." Ormandy Center materials designated as "Library Use Only" may be borrowed for a period of four hours and must be used in the library. Patrons are welcome to use the Center's audio-visual equipment for listening and viewing of personal recordings, although priority is given to those using library-owned materials. AccessĪ valid Penncard or other form of photo ID is required to use the Ormandy Media Center collections and facilities. Group viewing rooms are equipped with study tables and seating. The Ormandy Music & Media Center contains the Class of 1958 Audio Lab and the Glossberg Recording Room and Group Viewing Suite. The Music Library's video collection, also housed here, includes DVD and laser disc recordings of opera and ballet as well as a diverse collection of video tapes. Albrecht Music Library and houses more than 40,000 sound recordings of Western music, as well as art and traditional musics of the world in LP disc, cassette, and compact disc formats.
